Machu Linea
When Denver-based musician and producer, Armando Garibay, decided to start a new experimental music project, he enlisted the help of my friend and fellow designer, Edward P. Hill, and myself. We worked with Armando to develop the identity and creative collateral for this new project and his first two singles. The Machu Linea identity was created by channeling Armando’s personal interests with his musical style, described as “a psychedelic journey that mixes Deep House, Alternative R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop and Latin music.” The result is a study in finding harmony in chaos and opposition, mixing and blending two disparate parts to create a unified whole.
My role in this project included naming, album design, identity design, and collateral design.
